Manufacturing Technician A

Location: Rochester, New York, United States. Onsite production-floor role with a 4/10 schedule: four 10-hour days per week; shifts may last up to 12 hours.

Salary: $32,920–$63,500 per year.

What you will do

• Follow manufacturing test procedures to perform automated and semi-automated tests on RF and digital printed circuit boards, subassemblies, and end products.
• Log test and production information in technical databases and use Microsoft Office programs.
• Use hand tools, including torque wrenches, while maintaining consistent quality and productivity.
• Identify problems, perform basic troubleshooting, and contribute to process improvements through the E3 continuous improvement process.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, flexible production environment.
• Traverse the production floor throughout the shift, transport loads of up to 25 pounds, and work overtime when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent plus at least 4 years of relevant experience, or an associate degree/post-secondary education plus 0–2 years of related experience.
• Ability to work with manufacturing test procedures and technical databases.
• Ability to work on the production floor for extended periods and transport up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to work overtime as needed in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Some positions may require a security clearance, which can only be granted to U.S. citizens.
