Manufacturing Technician II (Days) (Manufacturing)

Location: Austin, TX; based at the Burnet facility. Onsite day-shift role with a 3-2-2-3 rotation from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM after training and certification.

What you will do

• Disassemble, assemble, and troubleshoot canisters and containers in a hazardous chemical environment.
• Follow work instructions and standard operating procedures while identifying opportunities to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with leadership, engineering, quality, and safety teams to meet production goals.
• Identify solutions, share improvement ideas, and adapt to changing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Maintain accountability, integrity, attention to detail, and a strong safety and quality focus.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical or technical experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Previous experience handling hazardous chemicals strongly preferred.
• Ability to lift or move up to 51 lb daily and perform visual checks while wearing required PPE.
• Ability to attain respirator certification and work overtime or weekends as needed.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills; SAP and PLC experience are a plus. ISO 9000/14000 experience is also a plus.
