Manufacturing Technician II (Days)

Location: Austin, Texas; onsite at the Burnet facility. Day shift follows a 3-2-2-3 rotation from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM after training and certification.

What you will do

• Safely disassemble, assemble, and troubleshoot canisters and containers in a hazardous chemical environment.
• Follow work instructions and standard operating procedures while identifying opportunities to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with leadership, engineering, quality, and safety teams to meet production goals.
• Investigate problems, share improvement ideas, and support continuous learning.
• Maintain accountability, adaptability, and attention to safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical or technical experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Previous experience handling hazardous chemicals is strongly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure, including overtime and weekends when needed.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills; ability to lift or move up to 51 pounds daily.
• Ability to perform visual inspections, wear required PPE, handle highly hazardous materials responsibly, and attain respirator certification.
• Experience in an ISO 9000/14000 environment is a plus; SAP and PLC experience are also a plus.
