Forensic Structural Engineer, PE (Structural Forensics)

Location: Ohio area, USA; the ideal candidate must be able to support cases in the surrounding area.

Salary: $100,000–$150,000 per year

What you will do

• Conduct forensic investigations of structural failures, collapses, construction defects, and related engineering matters.
• Perform site inspections and collect data to support forensic analysis.
• Analyze structural issues using engineering principles, codes, and standards.
• Prepare clear technical reports describing findings and conclusions.
• Provide expert testimony in legal proceedings when required.
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
• Must be a U.S. Person due to U.S. export-control and ITAR requirements.
