Location: Lone Tree, Colorado, United States; onsite role.
Estimated starting salary: $124,771.42–$171,560.71 per year, plus performance-based annual incentive pay.

What you will do
- Lead complex structural engineering projects and provide technical direction.
- Design and analyze metallic and composite structures for mission payloads, electronic systems, ground vehicles, and test platforms.
- Perform structural analysis and validation throughout the product lifecycle, including design reviews, systems integration, and structural testing.
- Develop requirements and loads, review engineering designs, and prepare technical documentation and substantiation reports.
- Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Mentor junior engineers and align structural engineering initiatives with executive leadership and business goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in aerospace, mechanical, civil engineering, or a related field; a higher relevant degree may substitute for experience.
- 10+ years of structural engineering or related experience.
- Expert knowledge of structural analysis and design principles, including static and dynamic analysis.
- Experience with computer-aided engineering and finite element analysis tools such as FEMAP, MSC Patran, and Nastran.
- Experience analyzing steel structures, threaded fasteners, and welds, with the ability to author substantiation reports.
- U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance are required.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree or PhD, Professional Engineering license, or equivalent certification.
- Experience with ANSYS, NASGRO, or AFGROW, including fatigue and damage tolerance analysis.
- Background in aerospace, defense, or automotive industries, preferably with ground platform experience.
- Familiarity with AISC, ASTM, DoD, FAA, and NASA design guidelines and regulations.
