Vice President, Global Service (Marine)

Location: Mettawa, Illinois, United States; hybrid office schedule with approximately 35% domestic and global travel

Salary: $174,600–$234,000 annually, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Define and execute the global Service strategy, positioning service as a competitive differentiator that improves customer experience, loyalty, growth, and business value.
• Lead a global organization spanning technical and field service, warranty, order management, commercial operations, technical training, and service communications.
• Drive measurable improvements in customer satisfaction, service performance, productivity, operational efficiency, and financial results.
• Lead the digital Service ecosystem, including ERP, CRM, customer portals, telephony, AI-enabled capabilities, EDI integrations, and future technology investments.
• Champion serviceability, product readiness, customer safety, and lifecycle support in partnership with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Product teams.
• Build executive partnerships with customers, dealers, distributors, channel partners, and industry stakeholders while representing Navico Group on the Enterprise Service Council.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.
• 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in service, operations, business transformation, operational excellence, or related disciplines.
• Experience building and leading high-performing global service organizations in complex manufacturing environments.
• Proven success leading enterprise-wide transformation, organizational change, process redesign, continuous improvement, and operating model transformation.
• Exceptional executive presence, influence across functions and geographies, and experience managing large-scale strategic initiatives.
• Ability to work in a hybrid office environment in Mettawa, Illinois, with approximately 35% domestic and global travel.

Nice to have

• MBA or another advanced business degree.
• Lean, Six Sigma, Operational Excellence, or similar certification.
• Experience with digital transformation, ERP-enabled process redesign, acquisition integration, or harmonizing processes across businesses.
• Leadership experience in a publicly traded global manufacturing organization.
