Software Engineer II (React/TypeScript)

Location: Remote within the United States; travel to the hirify.global office in Brookfield, Wisconsin, and nationwide travel for meetings, conferences, and team events may be required.

Salary: $78,800–$199,065 per year, with ranges varying by state and experience.

What you will do

• Design, develop, maintain, and improve software solutions for prescription, health, and medical record ordering products.
• Build modern front-end applications with supporting BFF APIs and service integrations.
• Help redesign monolithic legacy products in AWS and champion cloud best practices.
• Develop unit and integration tests, support deployments, and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders, contribute to sprint goals, and mentor team members.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with React and TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Experience with C#/.NET 8, SQL, backend services, and BFF APIs.
• Experience with AWS, GitHub, Terraform, Agile practices, and the full software development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of domain-driven, microservice, and event-driven architecture, plus unit and integration testing.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future immigration sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with digital health data, EHR systems, FHIR/HL7 interoperability, or clinical informatics.
• Experience with HIPAA or PCI-regulated environments, SaaS, life sciences, or medical claims.
• AWS or Certified Scrum Developer certification, test-driven development, and legacy cloud modernization experience.
