Electrical Engineer (PCB Design)

Location: Wilton, Connecticut, United States. The position is onsite and allows remote work up to two days per week. Occasional domestic or international travel may be required.

What you will do

• Design analog and digital circuits, printed circuit boards, power distribution systems, safety circuits, PLCs, cables, harnesses, cabinets, racks, boxes, and control consoles.
• Develop electrical concepts, specifications, interfaces, and technical documentation across the product life cycle.
• Plan and execute component, sub-module, module, and system-level integration, validation, and verification.
• Develop product-specific simulation, emulation, and hardware test tools.
• Perform root-cause analysis and troubleshoot issues from system level to component level.
• Coordinate requirements, dependencies, risks, suppliers, and cross-functional engineering activities while guiding peers through technical execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required; a master's degree or PhD is preferred.
• At least four years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience with electronic design automation tools and printed circuit board design.
• Experience with electrical testing, troubleshooting, validation, and verification.
• Knowledge of E-CAD tools, preferably Mentor Graphics xDX/xPCB Designer, circuit simulation tools, and electronic laboratory equipment.
• Experience with MATLAB, LabVIEW, or Python is preferred for engineering and test activities.
