Electrical Design Engineer Graduate (High-Performance Computing)

Location: Hybrid, with an average requirement to work 2 days per week from an HPE office. The stated US salary range applies to Texas and Wisconsin.

Salary: USD 62,900–145,300 annual base salary in the United States; variable incentives may also be offered.

What you will do

• Design new and derivative printed circuit board assemblies and modules for high-performance computing systems with senior electrical design engineers.
• Collaborate with power, mechanical, thermal, signal integrity, firmware, and vendor teams on system solutions.
• Bring up, debug, and validate PCAs in an engineering laboratory environment.
• Conduct design reviews and contribute to product development and release processes.
• Release PCA designs into manufacturing and support root-cause resolution during production ramp-up.
• Create specifications, test plans, assembly instructions, and issue-tracking documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Graduation must be within 1 year of the start date.
• Coursework or project experience in digital or analog circuit design is desired.
• Experience with oscilloscopes, power supplies, load tools, multimeters, or similar electrical laboratory equipment is desired.
• Ability to work independently and participate in teams addressing complex system and problem analysis.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement with an average of 2 days per week from an HPE office.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of FPGA programming.
