Electrical Engineering Intern

Location: On-site in Everett, Washington, for at least 12 consecutive weeks during summer 2027

Base pay: $59 per hour

What you will do

• Design and fabricate analog and digital electronic circuits, including op-amp, passive, and active filter circuits.
• Design and validate printed circuit boards using circuit layout and simulation tools.
• Develop in-house data acquisition systems and electronic instruments for fusion technology.
• Perform qualification and testing plans for new or modified designs.
• Support electrical engineers with design updates and documentation.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware issues on integrated fusion generators.

Requirements

• Available to work full time on-site in Everett, Washington, for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks during summer 2027.
• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Experience with board layout and circuit simulation tools such as KiCad, LTspice, or Altium.
• Experience designing analog and digital circuits and applying engineering principles to design trade-offs.
• Ability to safely work with high voltages, including 1–10 kV DC power supplies, and familiarity with electric and magnetic fields.
