Medical Assistant, PRN - Logansport, IN

Location: Logansport, Indiana, United States; onsite role

Salary: $21.00–$25.00 per hour

What you will do

• Support primary care physicians with patient intake, room preparation, and clinical care.
• Take vital signs, perform blood draws, administer injections and immunizations, bandage wounds, and assist with procedures.
• Review patient information, update medical records, document care, and process test results.
• Handle scheduling, check-in and check-out, medical record requests, referrals, and specialist coordination.
• Participate in patient outreach and help identify and address gaps in care.
• Maintain clinical supplies, treatment equipment, and clean, stocked exam rooms.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant or related program.
• National or state-specific Medical Assistant certification or registration; certification or registration is required where mandated by state law.
• CPR/BLS certification is required by the start date.
• Ability to work onsite in Logansport, Indiana.

Nice to have

• Phlebotomy experience.
