Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager (Insurance)

Location: Uniondale, New York, United States; regular in-person attendance is required for face-to-face client meetings.

Salary: $95,000–$120,000 per year, depending on experience; bonus eligible.

What you will do

• Manage 20–40 mid-to-large Commercial Lines insurance accounts as the primary day-to-day client contact.
• Provide proactive client support, insurance technical expertise, coverage reviews, and program recommendations.
• Market and place new and renewal business by preparing applications, selecting carriers, and comparing quotes and coverage.
• Manage renewal expirations, prevent coverage lapses, process policies and endorsements, and negotiate with carriers.
• Coordinate Account Representatives, respond to underwriters, and maintain accurate agency management system records.
• Support cross-selling initiatives and represent client interests in internal account strategy meetings.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in a Commercial Lines agency.
• Strong understanding of Property & Casualty insurance.
• Must hold or be willing to earn a Property & Casualty insurance license.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with minimal instruction.
• Comfort with internet-based programs and Microsoft Office products.
• College degree and industry designations such as ARM, CIC, or CPCU are preferred; Sagitta/ImageRight knowledge is preferred but not required.
