Associate Account Manager (Commercial Insurance)

Location: Hybrid; insurance licensing is required for the states where the agency operates

Salary: $65,000–$70,000 base annually, with possible performance-based incentives

What you will do

• Service a book of Commercial Lines accounts and support Small Business Units, clients, producers, and company personnel.
• Prepare new-business submissions, insurance proposals, endorsement requests, account files, invoices, and premium finance agreements.
• Process cancellations, investigate cancellation reasons, support account retention, and notify producers of important account activity.
• Maintain client activity and suspense items in the agency automation system while ensuring accurate and timely transaction processing.
• Support claims inquiries, cross-selling, account rounding, and client service while reducing coverage gaps and E&O exposure.
• Develop insurance knowledge through industry information, seminars, classes, product updates, legislation, and technology.

Requirements

• Current Property & Casualty Insurance License required.
• Licenses required by the applicable State Department of Insurance are mandatory, or the candidate must be close to obtaining them after accepting the offer.
• Previous experience in Commercial Lines and knowledge of commercial insurance products.
• At least two years of experience in a similar position.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, strong listening skills, and attention to detail.
• A college degree is preferred but not required.
