2027 Technology Summer Internship – Infrastructure Engineering

Location: Boston, United States; daily in-office presence required

Salary: $25/hour plus a sign-on bonus

What you will do

• Learn how enterprise technology solutions are deployed, operated, monitored, patched, and supported across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Support infrastructure and IT engineering teams across platforms, systems, applications, and end-user technology.
• Troubleshoot systems and equipment issues, identify root causes, document findings, and recommend solutions.
• Support Windows and application security patching across multiple device types.
• Explore scripting and software automation to improve operational efficiency, reliability, and consistency.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, application, cybersecurity, and business teams while contributing to documentation, metrics, presentations, and process improvements.

Requirements

• Current college junior entering senior year in fall 2027, studying Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong academic achievement; a GPA of 3.3 or higher is preferred.
• Strong analytical, research, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Leadership, curiosity, initiative, sound judgment, collaboration, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work in the Boston office on a daily basis.

Nice to have

• Experience with Windows or Linux operating systems and applications.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, virtualization, containers, or endpoint management.
• Experience with PowerShell, Python, Bash, infrastructure monitoring, vulnerability reporting, or data analysis tools.
• Exposure to IT service management, vendor management, cloud operations, or technology support.
