Senior Linux Infrastructure Engineer (New York)

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain critical infrastructure services across networking, operating systems, and security policies.
• Enhance security frameworks supporting investment initiatives and technology development.
• Develop and integrate infrastructure systems, primarily in Linux environments.
• Troubleshoot complex host- and network-level issues using advanced diagnostic techniques.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain reliable infrastructure operations.
• Automate build, deployment, and CI/CD pipelines to improve efficiency and reliability.

Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in Linux systems engineering or a related field.
• Extensive Python programming experience.
• Deep knowledge of Linux operating systems and configuration management.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across host and network layers.
• Familiarity with automated build, deployment, and CI/CD systems.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Rust, Java, C, Go, or C#.
• Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and Kerberos.
• Familiarity with network protocols, security concepts, databases, and large-scale storage solutions.
• Experience with Windows/Linux interoperability.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
