Track Support Manager (Railway Infrastructure)

Location: Glasgow, United Kingdom; regular travel to various job sites is required.

What you will do

• Manage and supervise Track Delivery Teams, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
• Coordinate with Track Delivery Managers to ensure safe and efficient daily production.
• Manage daily operations at the depot and site compounds.
• Inspect railway track infrastructure, identify defects and hazards, and coordinate required repairs.
• Procure and manage track materials, tools, equipment, and related resources.
• Prepare operational reports and collaborate with operations and engineering teams to improve track performance and reduce service disruptions.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in railway track maintenance, construction, or engineering.
• At least 3 years of supervisory or managerial experience.
• In-depth knowledge of railway track components, construction methods, maintenance practices, and safety regulations.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and prioritization skills.
• Valid driver's license and PTS certification; ability to travel to job sites as required.
