What you will do

• Assess the merits of clinical negligence and personal injury matters to determine whether claims can be insured.
• Build and maintain relationships with law firm clients across the UK.
• Identify opportunities to develop new business.
• Work with law firm clients to manage already insured cases.
• Mentor junior team members while handling cases.

Requirements

• 3+ years as an England and Wales qualified lawyer or insurance underwriter.
• Experience handling personal injury and clinical negligence matters.
• Background in legal expenses insurance or after-the-event cover is relevant.
• Ability to assess claim merits and manage relationships with law firm clients.
