Backend Developer (EV Charging)

What you will do

• Develop critical backend services used by public EV charging customers.
• Build quickly and robustly using observability, data analysis, and defensive programming.
• Support the safe global scaling of products and charge point operator integrations.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to break down complex problems.
• Propose creative technical solutions that improve the charging platform.

Requirements

• 2+ years of commercial experience with Python.
• Ability to write robust and fault-tolerant software.
• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD.
• Good understanding of databases and data architecture.
• Experience developing APIs, including REST or GraphQL.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to consider product vision when proposing technical solutions.

Nice to have

• Experience with web frameworks such as Django.
• Experience developing B2B product features.
• Experience with OCPI.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs.
