Integrations Engineer (TypeScript/Python)

Salary: £80,000–£130,000 base annually plus meaningful equity

What you will do

• Build and maintain connectors between hirify.global and SaaS applications, communication tools, enterprise services, and customer APIs.
• Design reliable full and incremental synchronization with pagination, checkpoints, backfills, retries, and recovery from partial failures.
• Implement OAuth, API-key, and service-account authentication flows while managing credentials securely.
• Consume webhooks and event streams and reconcile them with polling or scheduled synchronization.
• Map heterogeneous source schemas into shared hirify.global entity, relationship, and property types while preserving provenance, time, and source-specific meaning.
• Collaborate with platform engineers, AI Success Engineers, customers, and external technical teams; document integrations and contribute to open-source codebases.

Requirements

• Strong production experience with TypeScript and Python.
• Experience building and maintaining multiple connectors to third-party APIs, SDKs, databases, or services.
• Solid understanding of HTTP, REST, GraphQL, webhooks, OAuth 2.0, and common authentication patterns.
• Experience with asynchronous or event-driven services, queues, workers, scheduling, backfills, and synchronization reliability.
• Strong testing, debugging, security, and observability practices, including unit, integration, contract, and end-to-end testing.
• Ability to reverse-engineer poorly documented systems, model unfamiliar data semantically, and take integrations from customer need to dependable production implementation.

Nice to have

• Experience with ERP or supply-chain systems, Salesforce, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Slack, data warehouses, object stores, message brokers, Airbyte, Meltano, Singer, OpenAPI, or MCP.
• Experience with schema registries, change-data capture, data lineage, temporal data, knowledge graphs, or two-way synchronization.
