What you will do

• Own and develop hirify.global’s large and complex core algorithm codebase.
• Develop and maintain multiple mission-critical production services.
• Maintain and improve existing algorithms and business logic.
• Develop new technical products and systems for transportation operations.
• Improve application performance and user experience for thousands of daily passengers and clients.
• Collaborate closely with DevOps teams, algorithm developers, and researchers.

Requirements

• M.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a similar field.
• At least 3 years of hands-on industry experience in backend development with Python.
• Deep knowledge of algorithms, data structures, software engineering methodologies, and best practices.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD.
• Ability to learn quickly, deconstruct complex problems, and deliver pragmatic solutions.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work independently.

Nice to have

• Experience with DevOps and cloud infrastructure, including Kubernetes.
• Experience architecting and maintaining cloud systems.
