Senior Recruiter (Tech Recruiting)

Location: Fully remote. Salary benchmarks are provided for Kenya, the United States, and the United Kingdom; candidates based elsewhere receive a country-specific benchmark during the hiring process.

Base salary benchmarks: $83,820 annually in Kenya, $114,660 annually in the United States, and £77,600 annually in the United Kingdom. Target bonuses and benefits stipends are additional.

What you will do

• Own Senior Manager and above searches from launch through offer, starting with programs leadership and technology roles.
• Map talent markets, build Boolean searches, and create calibrated outbound pipelines using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools.
• Partner with senior hiring managers, lead search launches and syncs, manage timelines, and maintain process quality.
• Keep Greenhouse pipelines current, analyze conversion and time-in-stage data, and unblock stalled searches.
• Manage the candidate experience, including engagement, compensation discussions, logistics, and offer closing.
• Coach junior recruiters and help standardize outbound sourcing and search practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of recruiting experience in tech-forward INGOs, mission-driven scale-ups, or startups.
• Demonstrated proactive sourcing and end-to-end delivery of senior searches in markets where talent is difficult to identify.
• Experience recruiting across multiple functions, including technical or professional roles and programs or field leadership.
• Recent recruiting experience in sub-Saharan Africa and a strong understanding of regional talent markets.
• Experience partnering strategically with hiring managers, maintaining clean pipelines, and using recruiting data to make decisions.
• Strong candidate-closing skills and the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving searches.
