Senior Technical Recruiter (AI)

Location: Hybrid; employees must work in the office at least three days per week in Durham, North Carolina, or Emeryville, California.

Annual base salary: $70,000–$215,000, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Own full-cycle recruiting from intake through offer and close for engineering, product, AI research, IT, and other technical roles.
• Build proactive sourcing strategies through passive-candidate outreach, talent mapping, and creative channels.
• Advise hiring managers and talent acquisition leadership through structured intakes, requirement calibration, and market insight.
• Use funnel metrics, Greenhouse, Noon.AI, BrightHire, and other recruiting tools to track progress and identify bottlenecks.
• Evaluate candidates through structured and behavioral interviews, calibrated scorecards, and post-interview debriefs.
• Deliver a high-touch candidate experience while maintaining accurate records, pipeline reports, and stakeholder communications.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience; 7+ years preferred.
• Proven success closing niche or highly competitive technical talent and sourcing passive candidates.
• Experience advising and influencing senior stakeholders, including director- and VP-level hiring managers.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, ambiguous, frequently changing environment.
• Comfort with recruiting funnel metrics and data-driven decision-making.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; Greenhouse or a comparable ATS is strongly preferred.

• Both agency and in-house recruiting experience.

• Experience with AI-enabled recruiting tools such as Noon.AI and BrightHire.
