Lead Technical Recruiter (AI/ML)

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)

Base salary: $180,000–$220,000 per year

What you will do

• Own full-cycle recruiting for Engineering, Product, and Design roles from intake through offer and close.
• Partner with hiring managers to create scorecards, search strategies, and hiring plans.
• Source passive and hard-to-find technical and AI/ML candidates using modern sourcing tools.
• Bring market and compensation intelligence into hiring decisions and lead offer negotiations.
• Build and improve interview kits, scorecards, and structured debrief processes.
• Strengthen the employer brand in the engineering and AI community while advising company leaders on hiring.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience.
• Experience hiring backend, infrastructure, full-stack, or ML/AI engineers.
• Experience partnering directly with engineering leaders on intake and closing.
• Strong independent sourcing skills and experience managing full requisition loads with minimal oversight.
• Fluency in Greenhouse or a comparable ATS, plus modern sourcing tools such as Juicebox, Metaview, and Seekout.
• Fluent English is required.

• Experience building a recruiting function at an early-stage company.
• Insurtech, fintech, or regulated B2B SaaS recruiting experience.
