TL;DR
Program Performance Management Analyst, Co-Op (Spring - Summer 2027) (Program Controls/Data Analytics): Supporting program cost, schedule, resource, and performance analysis across defense and security programs with an accent on earned value management, schedule analysis, financial forecasting, and data validation. Focus on preparing performance reviews, analyzing planned versus actual staffing, and developing actionable insights with Excel, Microsoft Project, and Power BI.

Location: Quincy, Massachusetts; Bristol or Cranston, Rhode Island; East Syracuse, New York; Grayling, Michigan; Orlando, Florida; Washington, DC; Virginia; Massachusetts, Michigan, New York, Rhode Island, Maryland, or Florida remote locations. Must be a U.S. citizen.

Salary: $21.89–$24.32 per hour in Quincy, MA or Washington, DC; $20.07–$22.30 per hour in Cranston or Bristol, RI; $18.24–$20.27 per hour in Grayling, MI, Orlando, FL, or Syracuse, NY. Remote compensation depends on geographic differential.

What you will do

  • Support monthly Performance Management Reviews and prepare related data.
  • Assist with Earned Value Management Systems activities and program controls.
  • Analyze schedules and enter data in Microsoft Project Server.
  • Analyze planned versus actual staffing requirements for manpower planning.
  • Use Excel and Power BI for data analysis, validation, and reconciliation.
  • Participate in program meetings and perform ad hoc analyses and special projects.

Requirements

  • Enrollment in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Project.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • U.S. citizenship is required; eligibility for access to classified information may be required.
