Outbound Supervisor

Location: Bedford, Bedfordshire, England, United Kingdom; full-time, on-site warehouse role with flexibility to work different shifts, weekends, and peak periods.

What you will do

• Coordinate daily B2B and B2C outbound operations, including picking, packing, sorting, staging, and loading.
• Develop operational plans based on order volumes, workloads, cut-off times, and available manpower.
• Allocate labour and supporting resources across outbound work areas and adjust priorities throughout each shift.
• Monitor outbound flow, productivity, backlog, exceptions, service levels, and dispatch performance.
• Coordinate with Inbound, Inventory, Transport, Team Leaders, and warehouse associates to maintain smooth end-to-end execution.
• Investigate operational issues, implement corrective actions, and support continuous improvement and process optimisation.

Requirements

• Experience in warehouse, fulfilment, e-commerce, 3PL, or logistics operations.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience, with the ability to coordinate multiple workstreams and competing priorities.
• Understanding of picking, packing, sorting, staging, dispatch, and outbound fulfilment processes.
• Experience using WMS or other warehouse operational systems and managing performance through KPIs and data.
• Strong communication, organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard office applications; willingness to work shifts, weekends, and peak periods.

Nice to have

• 3PL warehouse management or supervisory experience.
• Experience with high-volume e-commerce fulfilment, B2B and B2C outbound operations, or frequent volume changes and peak periods.
• Experience in workforce planning, labour allocation, outbound capacity planning, or coordinating multiple operational teams.
• Chinese-English bilingual capability.
