What you will do
- Coordinate inbound and outbound freight processing, including receiving, locating, picking, checking, and loading shipments.
- Receive goods, verify quantities and condition, check manifests and shipment references, and prepare OSD reports.
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts or electric pump trucks and build or break down ULDs.
- Process customer orders, shipping and inventory records, operational reports, paperwork, and data entry.
- Rate transportation bills, support accurate client and vendor billing, and maintain relationships with trucking vendors.
- Follow safety, security, compliance, KPI, and workplace cleanliness standards while escalating issues when necessary.
Requirements
- Knowledge of the global logistics industry.
- Proficiency with MS Excel and MS Word.
- English language proficiency required.
- Ability to follow freight handling, safety, security, and regulatory procedures.
- Forklift truck license preferred.
