Air/Ocean Import Supervisor (Logistics)

What you will do

• Lead the air import team and supervise day-to-day operations, staffing, capacity, and operational coverage.
• Monitor operational metrics, shipment milestones, process flow, service execution, and productivity.
• Coach, mentor, train, and develop employees through huddles, check-ins, performance evaluations, and professional development plans.
• Maintain compliance, SOPs, shipment files, correspondence, audits, and corrective actions for recurring operational issues.
• Support billing accuracy, accounts receivable review, profitability, cost savings, and overtime control.
• Maintain customer relationships and support quotations, proposals, retention, and implementation of customer requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in foreign trade or equivalent education and experience.
• At least 4 years of industry-specific experience and 2 years of team leadership experience.
• Hands-on knowledge of air shipment operations and the global logistics industry.
• Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, time-management, and project-management skills.
• English and Spanish proficiency required.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office; IATA certification is preferred.
