Production Coordinator (Aerospace/Defense)

Location: Full-time onsite at the Torrance, California facility; overtime flexibility may be required.

What you will do

• Track and coordinate parts, assemblies, documentation, and material flow across manufacturing workflows.
• Maintain accurate ERP, MRP, and MES transactions reflecting physical material movement.
• Coordinate production planning, material kits, demand verification, staging, and transfers between build areas.
• Work with Supply Chain, Engineering, Production, Shipping & Receiving, and Inventory teams to resolve shortages, discrepancies, and delays.
• Monitor work orders, communicate part status, identify bottlenecks, and maintain production reports and build documentation.
• Support continuous improvement focused on material flow, data accuracy, production efficiency, and procedural compliance.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or logistics.
• Experience with ERP/MES systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or equivalent.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, including strong Excel or Sheets skills.
• Ability to work onsite full-time in Torrance, California, with overtime flexibility as needed.
• Ability to access applicable export-controlled information; classified-work assignments may require U.S. government security clearance or other authorization and applicable eligibility requirements.

Nice to have

• Production or materials coordination experience in aerospace, defense, or high-tech manufacturing.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement tools.
• Experience with production metrics or dashboards such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Hands-on experience coordinating materials across receiving, inspection, and production.
• APICS, PMP, or similar certification.
