What you will do
- Develop and manage project Quality Control Plans according to contract requirements.
- Execute the three phases of quality control and perform daily quality inspections.
- Coordinate required testing and new Definable Features of Work with superintendents, SSHOs, and subcontractors.
- Review and manage submittals, RFIs, and quality documentation.
- Track deficiencies, implement corrective actions, and conduct follow-up inspections.
- Maintain daily reports, inspection logs, and quality records.
Requirements
- At least five years of professional commercial or industrial construction experience, including at least two years as a QCM on USACE or NAVFAC construction projects.
- Demonstrated experience implementing a three-phase Quality Control Plan.
- Valid USACE/NAVFAC CQ/CM certificate required at the time of hire.
- Strong knowledge of UFGS specifications, quality control plans, and federal construction requirements.
- Proficiency with USACE RMS, NAVFAC QCS, or similar reporting software, as well as Microsoft Office and Bluebeam Revu or similar tools.
- Strong communication, documentation, and leadership skills; typing speed above 60 WPM.
