Quality Inspector (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Thomaston, Connecticut, United States; manufacturing floor setting with required PPE. US citizenship required.

Salary: $22.94–$27.52 per hour

What you will do

• Inspect raw materials, parts, and finished products against product specifications and quality standards.
• Identify, document, and report defects, nonconformities, and deviations.
• Inspect and record critical dimensional and surface characteristics using established customer and company standards.
• Maintain inspection records and prepare documentation required by the quality system.
• Complete pack-outs and kits according to product guidelines.
• Participate in and document finished-product and process audits.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification.
• At least 3 years of quality control experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, weld gages, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 or a similar quality management system.
• US citizenship required.
• Ability to work onsite on a manufacturing floor, follow PPE requirements, stand for extended periods, and lift, push, or pull up to 35 pounds.
