Registered Nurse-Oncology Full Time Weekend Nights

Location: 1000 N. Westmoreland, Lake Forest, Illinois, United States; full-time weekend night shift

Salary: USD 37–59.20 per hour

What you will do

• Provide professional nursing care to acutely ill patients through assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation.
• Collect and analyze patient data, develop individualized care plans, and evaluate progress toward expected outcomes.
• Coordinate care and collaborate with patients, families, physicians, ancillary staff, and other healthcare professionals.
• Delegate and supervise appropriate patient-care activities performed by assistants.
• Document patient responses and care decisions in the health record.
• Participate in shared governance, committee work, unit projects, and evidence-based practice.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Current Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license required.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and analytical skills.
• Emergency Room assignments may require ACLS, PALS/ENPC, and TNCC within one year of hire.
• Pediatric Emergency Room assignments may require Pediatric Advanced Life Support and TNCC within one year of hire.

Nice to have

• Experience in the specific clinical area.
• Trauma Nurse Specialist, Emergency Communications Registered Nurse, Certified Pediatric Nurse, or Certified Emergency Nurse credentials.
• PALS and ACLS for Prepost PACU assignments.
