What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy agentic AI solutions for the DOT ACERS Salesforce modernization program.
• Configure Salesforce Agentforce agents, actions, prompts, workflows, orchestration, and Experience Cloud integrations.
• Lead Salesforce Data Cloud implementation, identity resolution, and RAG pipelines grounded in trusted enterprise data.
• Integrate Anthropic Claude and Claude Code with Salesforce through MCP servers, headless APIs, and related frameworks.
• Develop and maintain Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, Platform Events, and APIs.
• Support secure releases, production stabilization, testing, root cause analysis, governance, documentation, and Agile delivery.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of software development experience, including 5 or more years of Salesforce development.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Agentforce, Prompt Builder, Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, Data Cloud/Data 360, and REST APIs.
• Knowledge of generative AI, prompt engineering, RAG, tool calling, agent evaluation, and secure AI governance.
• Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud, Platform Events, REST/SOAP APIs, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Git, CI/CD, and release management.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Nice to have

• Federal contracting, civilian agency modernization, Software Factory, or DOT experience.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum, FedRAMP-authorized environments, or AWS GovCloud.
• Salesforce Application Architect, System Architect, Service Cloud Consultant, Copado, MuleSoft, or related certifications and tools.
