Salesforce Developer (Public Sector)

Location: Remote within the United States only; must support US Eastern time zone working hours. U.S. citizenship and authorization to work in the United States are required. Foreign work locations, foreign IP access, and personal VPN connections are prohibited.

Salary: $81,499–$167,644 annually based on full-time employment.

What you will do

• Design, configure, develop, test, deploy, and support grants management capabilities on Salesforce Agentforce Public Sector.
• Apply a configuration-first approach using Salesforce Flow, OmniStudio, reusable platform features, Apex, and Lightning Web Components.
• Develop integrations between Salesforce, government services, financial systems, analytics platforms, and legacy applications.
• Support data migration through mapping, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and error resolution.
• Participate in testing, peer reviews, CI/CD, environment management, releases, defect resolution, and post-release support.
• Collaborate with analysts, product owners, architects, testers, security specialists, data teams, and government stakeholders while documenting technical decisions.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of hands-on Salesforce development, configuration, testing, and deployment experience in an Agile environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, business, or a related field.
• Active Salesforce certification; Platform Developer I is preferred, with Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Platform Developer II also valued.
• U.S. citizenship, residence in the United States, and authorization to work in the United States are required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, documentation, organization, and prioritization skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Salesforce Agentforce Public Sector, Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, Government Cloud, or comparable industry solutions.
• Experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, SQL, REST or SOAP APIs, middleware, ETL, and advanced Salesforce integrations.
• Experience with OmniStudio, Salesforce DX, source control, CI/CD, DevSecOps, and release management.
• Experience implementing federal grants management or complex case management platforms and supporting government technology programs.
• Experience with federal security, privacy, accessibility, records management, ATO processes, and complex data migrations.
