Senior Director of FP&A

Location: On-site in New York, NY or San Francisco, CA

Salary: $314,000–$400,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Own the annual operating plan, quarterly forecasting cycles, and long-range financial model across business units and geographies.
• Build and lead the FP&A team, establishing scalable processes, operating cadence, and financial rigor.
• Partner with executive leadership on financial scenarios, capital allocation, growth investments, and strategic decisions.
• Lead board and investor reporting, including P&L bridges, variance analysis, and clear financial narratives.
• Drive IPO readiness by developing public-company-grade reporting processes and controls.
• Build FP&A systems and tooling, integrate NetSuite with data infrastructure, and develop KPI dashboards.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive FP&A experience, including senior leadership or director-level experience.
• Experience building and leading FP&A functions at high-growth technology, infrastructure, or pre-IPO companies.
• Deep expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning across complex, multi-entity environments.
• Experience partnering with C-suite and board-level stakeholders on financial strategy and reporting.
• NetSuite proficiency required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; CPA or CFA preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with data center, infrastructure, AI/ML, or capital-intensive technology companies.
• IPO readiness, S-1 preparation, or public-company financial reporting experience.
• Experience with multi-currency and multi-jurisdictional financial environments.
• Experience scaling FP&A tooling with engineering or data teams.
• Big Four or investment banking experience.
