Robot Service Technician (Robotics)

Location: Onsite; candidates must be local to the Miami, FL area and authorized to work in the U.S. No relocation, visa sponsorship, or remote work options are available. The role follows a Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. schedule with some weekend hours as needed and includes travel between local sites.

What you will do

• Assemble wiring harnesses, cables, connectors, and mechanical and electrical robot components.
• Install, configure, and replace LiDAR, camera, and ultrasonic sensors.
• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnose failures, investigate incidents, and complete repairs and service campaigns.
• Support deployment, testing, and validation of autonomous delivery robots in real-world environments.
• Document service findings and manage inventory, equipment, and replacement parts.
• Contribute to rapid prototyping and hardware validation efforts.

Requirements

• Experience using mechanical and electrical tools, measuring equipment, and diagnostic tools.
• Experience assembling and disassembling electrical and electromechanical systems and integrating custom electronic modules.
• Ability to read 2D mechanical drawings and technical documentation.
• Understanding of AC/DC electrical systems and safe working practices.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to work in workshop and field environments.
• Ability to lift and move items weighing 50 pounds or more, with strong attention to detail, troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in automotive service, vehicle retrofitting, manufacturing, electric vehicles, robotics, autonomous systems, or related technologies.
• Soldering, wire crimping, general computer, and diagnostic tool experience.
