Head of Digital Transformation and CIO (Higher Education)

Location: Onsite at Centenary University, 400 Jefferson St, Hackettstown, New Jersey, US. Relocation assistance is available for candidates who require relocation. Travel of up to 25% is required.

What you will do

• Advise the university President and executive leadership on technology strategy, transformation, and institutional impact.
• Lead strategic and tactical technology initiatives, change management, and campus communications.
• Establish technology governance processes, policies, procedures, goals, and implementation plans.
• Assess and manage technology projects, resources, priorities, deadlines, and corrective actions.
• Build relationships across the university community, including faculty, staff, students, and executive stakeholders.
• Represent higher education customer and industry needs across hirify.global departments and divisions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in information technology or equivalent experience leading IT strategic initiatives in a college or university environment.
• Experience serving on campus executive leadership teams, including working with a President.
• Broad, current knowledge of higher education technology, trends, regulatory reporting, and state and federal requirements.
• Understanding of hirify.global administrative and academic computing solutions, preferably hirify.global Student (Colleague), and connected ERP/SIS systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, advising, empathy, influencing, organization, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work onsite at Centenary University and travel up to 25%.
