Chief Information Officer (Mid-Market) - Miami

Location: Miami, Florida metro; onsite or hybrid with at least 3 days in the office. Local or relocating candidates only.

Salary: $215,000–$285,000 base per year plus a 20–30% performance bonus.

What you will do

• Own enterprise IT strategy, roadmap, budget, vendor strategy, and executive reporting to the CEO, CFO, and board.
• Lead IT organizations of approximately 15–80 people across infrastructure, business applications, service desk, security, and data.
• Own core business systems including ERP, CRM, and HRIS platforms.
• Lead major transformation programs such as ERP replacement, cloud migration, and post-acquisition systems integration.
• Oversee Microsoft-based infrastructure, end-user computing, service management, cybersecurity, and cyber risk.
• Build trusted data and reporting capabilities and drive practical automation and AI adoption across business functions.

Requirements

• 12+ years of IT experience and 5+ years leading IT leaders.
• Current or recent experience as CIO, VP of IT, or Head of IT in a mid-market company with approximately 200–2,000 employees.
• Direct ownership of an IT budget and vendor portfolio.
• Personal experience leading an ERP implementation, replacement, or comparable enterprise-wide systems program.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Intune, and at least one major ERP and CRM platform.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States and able to work onsite or hybrid in the Miami metro.

Nice to have

• Experience in a private-equity-backed, acquisitive, or high-growth environment.
• Experience with SOC 2, NIST CSF, PCI DSS, or HIPAA frameworks and audits.
• Industry experience in financial services, logistics, healthcare, or hospitality.
