Director of IS & AI (AI)

What you will do

• Manage, mentor, and grow the Information Systems team and coordinate priorities across functional specialists.
• Oversee IT operations and support across hirify.global offices, ensuring reliable systems and timely issue resolution.
• Build a multi-year IT roadmap, define future-state architecture, manage the IT budget, and present recommendations to leadership.
• Lead company-wide AI adoption by setting responsible-use guidelines, training employees, evaluating tools, and tracking impact.
• Manage the external systems and software vendor portfolio, including inventory, sourcing, contracts, renewals, negotiations, and consolidation.
• Oversee IT security, data protection, access controls, business continuity, and disaster recovery planning.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive IT experience, including team leadership and management.
• Experience building and executing IT strategies or roadmaps for a growing or multi-location organization.
• Direct experience evaluating and rolling out AI tools in a business environment.
• Experience managing external systems and vendors, including contract negotiation and renewal.
• Strong training and communication skills for explaining technical and AI concepts to non-technical employees.
• Knowledge of IT security fundamentals and business continuity planning, plus a bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience in advertising, media, or another multi-location services industry.
• Experience developing an AI governance or acceptable-use policy.
• Background in organizational change management.
• Experience presenting technology strategy directly to senior leadership.
