Vice President, Information Systems (Real Estate)

What you will do

• Lead local technology strategy and serve as the primary liaison between executive management, local operations, and corporate IT.
• Manage multimillion-dollar technology budgets and oversee network technologies, IT services, security systems, and technology project coordination.
• Establish IT governance, cybersecurity, data privacy, acceptable-use policies, and controls for vendor and operational risk.
• Own local service desk operations, incident management, hardware procurement, infrastructure, networks, and physical security systems.
• Direct disaster recovery, ransomware response, business continuity, system migrations, construction technology logistics, and site openings or renovations.
• Drive digital transformation across ERP, SaaS, self-service data, AI/ML, IoT, and smart-building solutions while leading change management and user adoption.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive experience in IT leadership, cybersecurity, and enterprise technology management.
• Proven experience managing large-scale budgets, enterprise infrastructure, complex ERP migrations, and matrixed reporting structures.
• Familiarity with Argus Software, CoStar, MRI Software, RealPage, Salesforce, Yardi, and Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.
• Working knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and modern data ecosystems, including AI/ML, semantic layers, and lakehouse architectures.
• Experience with cybersecurity, cloud security, vendor risk, smart-building technology, IoT, access control, video surveillance, and resident or tenant applications.
• Commercial and multifamily real estate experience is preferred; CISM or CCSP certification is highly preferred.
