Application System Analyst II - Professional Billing

Location: Irving, Texas, United States; onsite at 5101 North O Connor Boulevard. Schedule: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday–Friday. Travel is generally not applicable, but may occasionally be required.

What you will do

• Analyze, design, configure, test, document, implement, support, and optimize assigned applications and business processes.
• Provide application support, troubleshoot moderate incidents, and respond to service requests with the Service Desk.
• Perform process mapping, requirements elicitation, stakeholder analysis, gap analysis, and solution recommendations.
• Manage medium-complexity projects and coordinate testing, validation, change control, vendor code changes, and implementation activities.
• Collaborate with operational leaders, technical teams, vendors, customers, and end users to resolve issues and standardize workflows.
• Educate users and coworkers, document solutions, mentor newer team members, and provide project status updates.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience, including 2+ years in healthcare, business, or information systems.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred in healthcare, business, or information systems.
• Detailed healthcare knowledge and systems expertise, with the ability to work under minimal supervision and use independent judgment.
• Strong problem-solving, multitasking, organizational, customer service, communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• For Epic analysts: certification or proficiency in the assigned Epic module must be obtained within 6 months and maintained through version training.

Nice to have

• Relevant certification in the assigned area of focus.
• Experience developing new functionality with limited direction and mentoring junior team members.
