Application Analyst Level 2 - Grand Central Prelude (Epic)

What you will do

• Implement, maintain, configure, and support Epic Grand Central and Prelude applications.
• Support patient movement and registration workflows, including admission, discharge, transfer, bed planning, transport, eligibility, and authorization.
• Analyze customer requirements, information systems, data, and business processes.
• Design technical specifications and implement system and process improvements.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting, system monitoring, software maintenance, and technical support.
• Coordinate projects, prepare documentation, and present information to project teams and management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related clinical or technical field, or four years of equivalent technical experience.
• Four years of related experience for Level 2.
• Epic Grand Central or Prelude certification; certification may be completed at Duke's expense after hire but is required for continued employment.
• An additional Epic proficiency or certification in another module within the same team.
• Strong proficiency in Epic configuration via Hyperspace and text.
• Experience with information systems implementation, maintenance, database management, technical support, project deliverables, and translating business processes into technical solutions.
