Director of Facilities Management & Security (Automotive)

Location: Onsite in Phoenix, Arizona; Miami, Florida; or Las Vegas, Nevada. Travel up to 25% may be required to oversee facilities and security services in other cities in the US and overseas.

What you will do

• Develop vendor strategies for security, building management, food and beverage, events, waste disposal, and other facility operations services.
• Oversee maintenance ticketing for 24/7, 365-day operations and serve as the primary escalation point for facility and security issues.
• Design security programs covering access control, surveillance, physical staffing, emergency response, and site readiness.
• Manage EV charger operations and maintenance vendors against a target of at least 98% uptime.
• Own local facilities budgets, P&L, capital expenditure planning, construction, commissioning, and retrofit projects.
• Coordinate vendors across multiple domestic and international locations while ensuring safety and compliance.

Requirements

• BA/BS in Facilities Management, Business Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of facilities experience, including director-level leadership, account management, and outsourcing strategy.
• Experience with industrial or automotive real estate operations; electric vehicle charging experience is beneficial.
• Project management skills and the ability to advance projects with undefined scope and align stakeholders.
• Knowledge of OSHA, safety inspections, emergency protocols, compliance frameworks, and workplace strategies.
• Strong communication, judgment, organizational leadership, and ability to respond to changing priorities and high-pressure situations.

Nice to have

• Certification or industry designation in project management, engineering, or facilities services.
