Sr. Supervisor, Facilities Operations, U.S. West (R6106)

Location: On-site in San Diego or San Mateo, California, or Seattle, Washington; regional travel of approximately 20% is expected.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop Facilities Coordinators across the assigned region.
• Manage day-to-day facilities operations across offices, engineering spaces, manufacturing environments, laboratories, hangars, warehouses, and secure areas.
• Coordinate maintenance, work orders, utilities, landlord obligations, vendors, contractors, and service providers.
• Plan and deliver non-capital facilities projects, including space reconfigurations, moves, furniture deployments, repairs, signage, service rollouts, and workplace refreshes.
• Manage vendor performance, purchase orders, invoices, forecasts, budgets, risks, and project documentation.
• Implement environmental health and safety, physical security, emergency preparedness, compliance, reporting, and continuous-improvement practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in facilities, business, operations, engineering, construction, communications, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 3+ years of progressive experience in facilities, workplace operations, property operations, project coordination, vendor management, or a related function.
• Experience leading people, projects, vendors, or cross-functional teams and supporting multiple sites or concurrent operational workstreams.
• Experience coordinating workplace improvements, moves, service rollouts, minor facility projects, scopes, schedules, purchase orders, invoices, or budgets.
• Working knowledge of commercial building services, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire and life safety, access control, and related systems.
• Ability to work primarily on-site, travel throughout the assigned region, and provide occasional early-morning, evening, weekend, or on-call response.

Nice to have

• Experience directly supervising employees or leading a distributed site-services team.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, advanced manufacturing, engineering, technology, laboratory, aviation, or other mission-critical environments.
• Experience with secure, controlled-access, or classified facilities; ICD 705 familiarity or training.
• Experience with computerized maintenance management, integrated workplace management, or building management systems.
• CFM, FMP, SFP, OSHA 30, LEED, project-management, or another relevant professional credential.
