Facilities & Maintenance Manager

Location: Swedesboro, New Jersey, United States. This is an in-house, plant-based role requiring regular on-site presence, with an expectation that the employee may work in the office five days per week. Travel by car and plane is required.

Salary: $88,500–$102,000 per year, depending on geographic location, skills, education, credentials, and experience.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary facilities and maintenance expert for repair issues raised by operations teams and service providers.
• Manage capital budgets, repair and maintenance spending, and general administrative expenses.
• Plan and oversee capital projects, rollouts, repair programs, and preventative maintenance initiatives.
• Identify, qualify, select, and manage national and regional vendors while evaluating service quality and cost effectiveness.
• Analyze FF&E and building systems to support repair-or-replace decisions and reduce downtime.
• Oversee work orders, warranties, landlord and property-management issues, and maintenance reporting to leadership.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive facilities management experience.
• Experience managing repair and preventative maintenance programs, capital projects, and budgets.
• Knowledge of building systems and equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, multitasking, and delegation skills.
• Ability to work on-site in the production facility and travel by car and plane.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, lift up to 25 lbs. frequently and up to 100 lbs. occasionally, and work for extended periods in varying temperature zones, including cold environments.
