Off-Shift Fabricating Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Location: Ashland, Ohio, United States; onsite role

Salary: $70,000–$83,000 per year, plus an annual performance-based bonus

What you will do

• Supervise folding, gluing, waxing, stripping, bundling, and other finishing activities during the assigned shift.
• Coordinate work orders and production activities with the Production Manager and Shift Supervisor.
• Oversee employees, approve time records, communicate company policies, and support hiring, promotion, discipline, and employee development decisions.
• Maintain production quality, inspect materials and equipment, investigate finishing-quality complaints, and minimize unscheduled downtime.
• Train employees on equipment, production standards, safety procedures, protocols, and waste control.
• Analyze performance and implement process, equipment, continuous-improvement, and safety initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of corrugated manufacturing experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to work flexible hours when needed.
• Knowledge of corrugated and packaging manufacturing, departmental machinery, safety practices, continuous improvement, and shop-floor systems.
• Strong organizational, analytical, mechanical, interpersonal, communication, and prioritization skills.

Nice to have

• Some college education or manufacturing training.
• Previous supervisory experience involving training, team building, performance development, and conflict resolution.
