Packaging Line Technician (Day Shift)

Location: Valencia, California, United States; onsite day shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

Salary: $41,000–$68,000 per year, plus potential annual performance bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Set up, operate, monitor, and adjust automatic and semi-automatic filling, labeling, and packaging equipment.
• Supply packaging lines with bulk product and components, remove finished products, pack boxes, seal them, and load pallets.
• Perform in-process quality checks, inspect tablets, capsules, and bottles, and remove defective products.
• Maintain production, cleaning, and batch records in compliance with cGMPs, SOPs, and safety procedures.
• Disassemble, wash, sanitize, and reassemble equipment during product closeout.
• Support continuous improvement, troubleshoot production issues, and train or cross-train other operators.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to resolve equipment issues with training.
• Ability to operate manufacturing packaging equipment in a fast-paced production environment.
• Proficient English required for reading SOPs and manufacturing instructions, communicating with staff, and completing production and cleaning logs.
• Attention to detail, understanding of line-efficiency data, and commitment to GMP and quality requirements.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, climb, perform repetitive motion, use PPE, and lift or move materials weighing 25–50 pounds.

Nice to have

• At least one year of related experience.
• Experience with root cause analysis and improving equipment changeover times.
