Project Controls Manager (Data Center Construction)

Location: Dallas, Texas, United States; travel up to 20% to data center sites may be required.

What you will do

• Manage third-party scheduling consultants and establish quality, reporting, and review standards for master schedules.
• Review and validate general contractor schedules, including logic, durations, critical path, float, sequencing, and owner milestones.
• Report schedule health, progress, forecasts, and risks to leadership, escalating issues before they become delays.
• Own the change order process from intake and verification through negotiation, resolution, and budget/GMP reconciliation.
• Represent Galaxy in progress and change meetings, driving accountability and closure of open items with general contractors.
• Maintain project documentation and improve controls standards, templates, reporting, and governance across the portfolio.

Requirements

• 7+ years of project controls or construction management experience on large-scale, complex programs.
• Mission-critical or data center construction experience required.
• Owner-side schedule management experience, including oversight of scheduling consultants and review of general contractor schedules.
• Hands-on expertise with CPM scheduling and Primavera P6.
• Experience managing, verifying, and directly negotiating construction change orders.
• Working knowledge of construction contracts and GMP structures, such as AIA A133/A201, plus the ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
