Quality Assurance Manager (Offshore Wind)

Location: London, UK; applicants must be UK based and already have the right to work in the UK.

What you will do

• Provide project-specific quality assurance and quality control support for the Dogger Bank South offshore wind project.
• Apply project quality requirements across development, procurement, fabrication, construction, installation, commissioning and handover.
• Review contractor and supplier Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans, inspection reports, manufacturing records and handover documentation.
• Conduct and support quality audits, inspections and surveillance activities across assigned project packages.
• Manage quality risks, non-conformances, concessions, corrective actions, lessons learned and open issue tracking.
• Coordinate quality reporting, performance monitoring, incident investigations and stakeholder communication with contractors, suppliers, inspectors and project teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management or a related technical discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience reviewing quality plans, inspections, test plans and quality records.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in offshore wind, marine infrastructure or major infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems and project quality assurance processes.
• Experience with contractor and supplier quality assurance, risk-based documentation review and root cause analysis.
• Must be UK based and already have the right to work in the UK.

Nice to have

• ISO 9001 Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor qualification.
• GWO certifications, including Working at Heights, Sea Survival, Fire Awareness, First Aid and Manual Handling.
• Valid OGUK Offshore Medical Certificate.
• CDM 2015 awareness or training.
• Knowledge of the traditional energy industry, project administration, legal requirements and project management.
