Turret Operator 1 (CNC)

Location: Rolling Meadows, Illinois, United States; onsite manufacturing role. Must be available for second-shift core hours from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, including overtime and weekends as needed.

Salary: $18.14–$24.48 per hour.

What you will do

• Set up and change over CNC turret punch press equipment using tooling, dies, and mechanical adjustments.
• Perform first-time setups for new products through programming, profiling, and mechanical or software adjustments.
• Operate equipment to meet production and quality requirements and make minor output corrections.
• Load and unload sheet metal stock, stage parts, and deburr finished components.
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Complete scheduled machine maintenance and keep the work area safe and orderly.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, or otherwise qualify as a U.S. Person under ITAR.
• High school diploma or GED.
• One to two or more years of machine setup and operation experience; candidates with no experience may qualify with specialized training or certification.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to work the required second shift, overtime, and weekends when needed.

Nice to have

• Forklift experience or ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification.
