Machine Operator - 1st Shift (CNC)

Location: Anoka, Minnesota, United States; onsite, 1st shift

Salary: $23.15–$30.37 per hour

What you will do

• Set up, adjust, maintain, and operate laser systems, manual presses, NC/CNC presses, and cutting machines.
• Use computerized manufacturing technologies, controllers, and production systems to meet customer and production requirements.
• Position materials and tooling, maintain dimensions to blueprint specifications, and edit equipment programs.
• Inspect work for dimensional accuracy and ensure products meet quality standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance and assist with troubleshooting equipment and production systems.
• Support safety, housekeeping, lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and use measuring equipment such as tape measures and calipers.
• Knowledge of production processes, safety procedures, analytical problem-solving, and effective communication.
• Computer experience with Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, JD Edwards, and Radan.
• Ability to lift, slide, and shake heavy gauges of material.
• Forklift license or ability to obtain one; 1 year of CNC manufacturing equipment experience and 3+ years of production experience are preferred.
