Commercial Lines Senior Account Manager (Insurance)

Location: Denver, Colorado, United States; hybrid role with regular in-person client meetings

Salary: $80,000–$120,000 per year; bonus eligible with a target incentive of 5%

What you will do

• Manage 20 to 40 mid-to-large Commercial Lines insurance accounts as the day-to-day client contact.
• Provide proactive client support and technical expertise on Property & Casualty insurance.
• Market and place new and renewal business, prepare applications, identify suitable carriers, and compare quotes and coverage.
• Recommend insurance programs, negotiate with carriers, and prevent lapses in coverage.
• Process policies, endorsements, and audits while maintaining accurate records in agency management systems.
• Coordinate with Sales Executives, Account Executives, Account Representatives, underwriters, and internal account strategy teams.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in a Commercial Lines insurance agency.
• Strong understanding of Property & Casualty insurance.
• Must hold or be willing to earn a Property & Casualty insurance license.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with minimal instruction.
• Comfort with internet-based programs and Microsoft Office products.
• Regular in-person attendance at face-to-face client meetings in Denver is required.

Nice to have

• College degree.
• ARM, CIC, or CPCU industry designation.
• Knowledge of Sagitta or ImageRight.
